Panoramic Photography
and Virtual Tour Design

A picture is worth more than thousand words but what about a panorama? Value by yourself - with a virtual tour you can present your facilities in a more detailed and more impressive way!

Summary

Panoramic photography is a technique of photography, using specialized panorama head, that captures images with elongated fields of view. It is sometimes known as wide format photography. The term has also been applied to a photograph that is cropped to a relatively wide aspect ratio. While there is no formal division between "wide-angle" and "panoramic" photography, "wide-angle" normally refers to a type of lens, but using this lens type does not necessarily make an image a panorama. An image made with an ultra wide-angle fisheye lens covering the normal film frame of 1:1.33 is not automatically considered to be a panorama. An image showing a field of view approximating, or greater than, that of the human eye - about 160° by 75° - may be termed panoramic. This generally means it has an aspect ratio of 2:1 or larger, the image being at least twice as wide as it is high.

My Services

I'm able to create a full 360° to 180° panorama picture in a maximum resolution of 120 mega pixels, and present the panorama in different virtual tours. For this purpose I'm using professional programs like Stitcher Unlimeted, PT GUI, Pano2VR and Adobe Photoshop. I'm using a Canon 5D Mark II with a resolution of 21.1 megapixels, and a special tripod panorama head from Manfrotto.

HDRi Photography

HDRi is a set of methods used in imaging and photography to allow a greater dynamic range between the lightest and darkest areas of an image than current standard digital imaging methods or photographic methods. HDR images can represent more accurately the range of intensity levels found in real scenes, from direct sunlight to faint starlight, and is often captured by way of a plurality of differently exposed pictures of the same subject matter.

HDRi is a range of methods to provide higher dynamic range from the imaging process. Non-HDRi cameras take pictures at one exposure level with a limited contrast range. This results in the loss of detail in bright or dark areas of a picture, depending on whether the camera had a low or high exposure setting.

Video how I do a panorama picture

In this footage I'll show you, the process how I do panorama picture. I start from the begin when I open my backpack until I turn around with my camera 3 times to make a full spherical picture.

Features

Picture Gallery
Supplement your panoramas with a picture gallery. The size, orientation and number of images can be adjusted as desired. Virtual tours can contain multiple galleries.

Animated Hotspots
So-called hotspots can be installed in your panoramas. Thus, it is possible to link several adjacent rooms together or open a website.

Audio, Video & Multimedia
Flash applications, pictures, music and video can be integrated (eg your company logo, a video on the TV, sound from the stereo system or background music).

Nadir Point
If required in your 360 degree panorama, the nadir image can be used as a hotspot, link or your company logo.

Floor Plans
A floor plan navigation provides an overview of the existing views. This provides a simple and intuitive navigation through several rooms. I use your existing floor plans or create them on your request.

Google Maps
The integration of a Google Map in your panoramas is also possible. The radar shows the current angle of view of the panorama and also serves as a navigator. To chang the panorama picture simply click on a hotspots on the map.
